Bracing is important to form a plumb, straight wall. Formtech bracing provides the optimum support and stabilization the structure requires during the pour.

Formtech bracing includes a strongback and adjustable outrigger with clevis pins for fastening.

Braces should be placed 6' to 7' apart starting two feet from a corner.
Place the strongback to the wall and align it with the embedded strapping. Fasten the strongback with 1-1/2" screws, starting at the top and anchor base.

Once the strong back is fastened, determine the position of the outrigger, and fasten it with clevis pins.

Adjust the bracing by turning the outrigger before and after the pour.
Horizontal alignment, important for striaght walls, is achieved with metal studs or other material, secured to bracing.
